Generating AI Captions with Brand Voice
One of capty's core features is automatically generating captions for your posts. You upload an image or video – capty turns it into matching, platform-ready text in your brand's voice.
How generation works
- In the post editor, upload your image or video.
- In the "AI Caption Generation" section, choose your preferred settings, such as tone or focus of the post.
- capty generates a separate suggestion for each selected platform – including matching hashtags.
Tailored per platform
Since writing style and length differ by platform – a LinkedIn post reads differently from an Instagram caption – capty creates a separate suggestion for each platform. The editor shows one tab per platform, so you can review and edit each caption individually.
Regenerating suggestions
If you don't like a suggestion, use the regenerate option to create a new one. You can keep generating variants until the caption fits perfectly – without starting over.
Hashtags
For every generated text, capty suggests matching hashtags. You can keep them, remove individual ones, or add your own.
Editing manually
Generated captions are a starting point – you can freely edit, shorten, expand, or replace them with your own text at any time before scheduling or submitting the post for approval.
Using your Brand Voice
To make sure generated texts actually sound like your brand, the AI is based on your Brand Voice settings – tone of voice, audience, and writing style. The more complete this profile is, the more accurate the suggestions will be. See Setting Up Your Brand Voice to learn how to set it up.
