Managing Workspaces and Brands
A workspace in capty represents a brand – either your own company or, if you're an agency, one of your clients. Each workspace has its own connected social media channels, its own Brand Voice, its own templates, and its own content calendar.
Switching workspaces
At the top left of the sidebar, you'll see the name of your current workspace (e.g. "Capty") with a small arrow. Clicking it opens a menu with:
- Switch Brand: A list of all brands you have access to. One click switches your entire workspace – channels, calendar, posts, templates, and Brand Voice automatically adapt to the selected brand.
- Manage Brands: Manage the brands you have access to, including basic settings.
- Add New Brand: Creates a new workspace for another brand or client.
Why multiple workspaces are useful
For agencies, freelancers, and marketing teams managing several brands, separating them into workspaces keeps everything organised: each brand has its own tone of voice (Brand Voice), its own connected channels, and its own approval workflow – without mixing up content between clients.
What happens when you switch
When you switch workspaces, the content on every page updates accordingly: the dashboard shows that brand's stats, the calendar shows its scheduled posts, and "Channels" shows the social media accounts connected for that brand.
