Team & Account

Profile & Account Settings

Your personal settings live under Settings → My Profile. Settings are split across five tabs: My Profile, Channels, Plan & Usage, Billing and Notifications.

Profile

Here you change your name and e-mail address and add a profile picture. Your name appears in the team and as the Author on your posts.

Interface language

Under Language you switch between Deutsch and English. This only affects the interface.

The language your captions are written in is a separate thing. That's controlled by Default Language in your Brand Voice, or per post.

Light or dark appearance

Under Appearance you choose between Light and Dark. The setting is personal to you, not shared with your team.

Changing your password

A new password must:

  • be at least 8 characters long,
  • contain at least one number,
  • contain at least one special character.

If you can't get in at all, use the reset option on the login page.

Notifications

In the Notifications tab you decide separately for each kind of event whether you're told by e-mail, in-app, or both:

  • Posts – new posts that are ready for approval.
  • Comments – new comments on your posts.
  • Approvals – requests, change requests and granted approvals.
  • Publishing – successful and failed publishing attempts.

Changes only take effect once you hit "Save Changes".

Leave Publishing switched on. It's the only notification that reaches you when a scheduled post fails to go out – otherwise you might not notice for days.

Security e-mails stay enabled regardless.

Deleting your account

At the bottom of the profile you'll find "Delete Account". The app states plainly what happens:

  • An active subscription is cancelled immediately.
  • The complete account – including all users, posts, media and other data – is deleted immediately and permanently.
This cannot be undone, and there is no recovery afterwards. Export anything you want to keep first – your analytics as a PDF, for instance – and download your media. Posts already published stay up on the platforms.
