Refund Policy

1. Payment Processing by Paddle (Merchant of Record)

All payments for capty.ai are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), Core B, Block 71, The Plaza, Park Lane, Dublin 2, Ireland. Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record and is the legal seller of your subscription. Invoices, payment confirmations, and receipts are issued by Paddle.

By purchasing a capty subscription, you agree to Paddle's Buyer Terms. Paddle provides dedicated buyer support at paddle.com/help, which handles billing and payment method enquiries.

2. Scope and No Right of Withdrawal

capty is designed exclusively for business customers (companies, agencies, freelancers operating commercially). Statutory consumer withdrawal rights under EU or national consumer protection law do not apply. Once a subscription is purchased, no entitlement to a refund exists unless one of the specific exceptions set out below is met.

3. Exceptions: Valid Refund Claims

Refunds are issued solely in the following circumstances:

  • Duplicate charge or billing error: If the same amount was demonstrably charged more than once, or if a charge occurred due to a technical error, the incorrectly charged amount will be refunded.
  • Complete service outage: If capty is completely unavailable for a continuous period exceeding 72 hours due to a verified fault on capty's side that could not be resolved within that period, the affected period will be assessed individually. In such a case, capty may, at its sole discretion, grant a pro-rata credit or a subscription extension.
  • Legal obligation: Where a mandatory legal obligation to refund exists, it will be fulfilled.

No refunds are issued beyond these circumstances. In particular, no refund is granted for non-use of the service, early cancellation before the end of the subscription term, or dissatisfaction with individual features.

4. No Pro-Rata Refunds

No pro-rata refunds are issued for unused portions of a subscription period. When a subscription is cancelled, access remains active until the end of the paid billing period; no refund is issued for the remaining time.

5. Cancellation

Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time via the account dashboard or by emailing info@capty.ai. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No cancellation fees apply. Subscription management — including payment method changes, invoices, and cancellation — is also available through the Paddle Billing Portal, accessible from account settings or the link in your payment confirmation.

6. Refund Requests

Refund requests for one of the circumstances listed in Section 3 should be sent to info@capty.ai with the following details:

  • Name and email address of the Paddle account
  • Paddle order number (from the payment confirmation email)
  • Description of the circumstances and supporting evidence

We typically process requests within 5 business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

7. Chargebacks

Please contact us at info@capty.ai before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Unwarranted chargebacks will be actively disputed by Paddle and may result in account suspension. For suspected unauthorised charges, contact Paddle directly at paddle.com/help, as Paddle, as Merchant of Record, handles such cases.
